What the heck is a procedural?
Quick answer...
Modo is a well-proven application in the field of footwear design, and it would most certainly benefit any aspiring designer to explore what it has to offer.
Though this course is not inherently difficult, I do recommend that you have some experience with Modo. At the very least, you should be comfortable navigating through the various viewports and moving objects.
